Looking for a shorter reindeer tour in Tromsø? Thisfamily-friendly Arctic adventure combines hands-on reindeer feeding with anauthentic introduction to Sami heritage.
Your journey begins with a 10:15 AM departure from Tromsø city center. Enjoy a scenic drive to our camp in the beautiful valley ofBreivikeidet, surrounded by spectacular fjords, forests, and snow-coveredmountain peaks. Along the way, take in some of Northern Norway's mostbreathtaking landscapes.
Upon arrival, you'll be welcomed by a Sami guide who willshare fascinating stories about Sami culture and daily life in the Arctic. Learn about traditional clothing, spirituality, tools, reindeer herdingpractices, family traditions, and customs that have been passed down throughgenerations.
Inside a traditional Sami lavvu (tent), you'll gain uniqueinsight into one of Europe's oldest Indigenous cultures before heading out tomeet our reindeer herd.
Step into the reindeer enclosure and meet up to 100 friendlyreindeer eagerly waiting for their morning feed. Feed them by hand or from abucket, take memorable photos, and observe these remarkable Arctic animals intheir natural environment while surrounded by stunning winter scenery.
Throughout the tour, your guide will be on hand to answerquestions and ensure you have an engaging and memorable experience.

Meeting point and time:
Pick up is at 10am in Prostneset at the bus terminal; the bus will depart at 10.15am
Look for a guide wearing a blue Luhkka (traditional Sami poncho).
